Resilience. 

I aim to develop the valuable quality of resilience. This has a massive impact on a child's social skills, a child's desire to try, academically, problem solving skills, awareness and reactions to injustice and their own sense of purpose.

How I will help your child:

*Encourage independence, supporting struggles.

*Ask open-ended questions that develop problem-solving skills and confidence.

*Remind your child of their accomplishments, bring attention to overcome frustrations and emphasise efforts.

*Find ways for your child to contribute in a meaningful way, encouraging feelings of value and capability.

*Help your child process their feelings and express their emotions appropriately to help in social situations and making relationships.

Resilience takes time, and lots of patience, to build. This is a quality that will serve your child well for their entire life.
